About Math Nuggets

Teacher Sandra started Math Nuggets as an online portal in 2020 with the vision that Math would be appealing to children, just like how everyone loves nuggets! It was at the beginning of the pandemic to ensure students and parents get the help they needed online when F2F lessons were not accessible.

Having been exposed to students with special needs and learning difficulties, She found herself passionately involved in learning how to teach and support them. She is accredited with a Specialist Diploma in Teaching and Supporting Children with Special Needs, a Certificate in Dyscalculia and Numeracy Teaching, and ACLP (Formerly known as ACTA).

We are now a team of Math Specialists conducting small group face-to-face classes at our physical centre at Hougang Ave 8. Till date, we have coached more than 500+ students and transformed Math haters into Math lovers.

Our Math Specialists have more than 30 years of teaching experience combined, with certifications from DAS on how to support special needs learners in Mathematic. Our team is dedicated and passionate in helping struggling learners find joy in learning and eventually becoming confident problem solvers.
